its a good mod

So I checked into why this doesn’t load in game. Upon unzipping the mod 7zip threw all kinds of header errors – specifically to the i3d file. I then opened the i3d file in Giants Editor and discovered that due to the header error, half the contents in the i3d file are corrupted and missing after being unzipped, most notably the entire truck body.
So that’s why this thing doesn’t work in game – When the game tries to read the corrupted zip file it has no idea what to do with the header errors and can’t load the i3d file. This can’t be fixed in Giants Editor either for the same reason the game can’t load it – The zip is corrupted with bad headers.
This all could have been avoided if the creator had taken time to check if their zip file was corrupted or not before uploading. Would literally have taken 30 seconds or less of their time.
Don’t mod if you’re not willing to take the time to test your work in the simplest of ways before uploading. You’re wasting everyone’s time by not being willing to spend 30 seconds of yours to test something simple like a silly zip file.
Please I’m on ps4
Cant get on xbox even though it says xbox
where does it even say that?
you can’t even get in the menu to buy the truck
wont let me buy either buffers forver or wont let me open the menu
it might have a blank picture go to yours mods in game and try and buy it
I thought of that too after seeing there was no store picture for the mod in game. I then unzipped the archive file so I could make and add one and discovered that 7zip throws all kinds of header errors for the archived files when unzipping – notably the i3d file. The result is an i3d file that the game cannot load because the zip archive is corrupted with faulty headers. I tested this by loading the bad i3d file into Giants Editor and discovered half the truck’s parts – even the main body don’t load. This is because of the faulty headers in the zip file making a mess of the data when uncompressing the files.
Apparently the creator never bothered to take 30 seconds and unzip their archive file to test whether it had compressed correctly or not. Pretty pathetic, but that’s why it won’t load in-game.
