Hello everyone! So after a long process and a ton of hours, I am so happy to present to you “Elk Mountain Wyoming” for FS22! It’s a 4x map and at the moment only for PC. It is a large river valley with mountains on one side and on the other side large open high plains. This map gives you the opportunity to do just about anything that FS22 has to offer. From farming in the river valley and the high plains, logging in the densely forested mountains and mining across the map. It has 10 predetermined fields. Custom environment and a custom crop calendar. I love the Elm Creek barns except for the fact that you can’t go in them so I’ve taken some of them into blender and I’ve given them interiors and working doors. There are two files that you have to download one is the map and one is the separate buildings pack which include the EMR sawmill and the OK Used Mods dealership that has been updated for FS22. You have to unzip the buildings pack and drag them into your mods folder. Most of the ranch buildings will only show up if you are in new farmer mode. There are 4 other farm locations on the map with the elm creek barns but none of the doors will work until you perches the land. Also after you perches the land you can take down the realty signs by walking up to them and deactivating them. There are 12 elk antler collectibles on the map, I also added 3 new collectibles. There are a few extra map fill types add for future production opportunity.

1. Increased the terrain angles
2. Added dry corn
3. Added anhydrous ammonia (purchase point behind dealership)
4. Added Propane (purchase point is beside tractor supply)
5. Added alfalfa which includes completely new textures including bale textures
6. Fixed some floating objects and changed a few visual objects

8. Replaced Wyoming Grain buildings with River Bottom Customs corn dryer silo system
9. Adjusted the mining fuel triggers and wash plant placement
10. Adjusted the elk bugle with the collectibles so the sound gets deleted when you pick up an antler

it also said I needed to turn on my Thresher…but what Key do I press to do that ?????
I try to play this map and was harvesting some sunflowers and my Combine stop and said it was to wet to harvest …WHY ?
unable to harvest sunflowers it says the crops are to moist and it will not let my harvester move

Love the map. I am from Colorado and this map is home. Aspen trees are not birch but close. Aspen trees have small silver dollar leaves that change color to yellows and golds.
There are places along the roads where three are invisible rocks that toss certain vehicles all over.
Does anyone know how the water tank/windmill combo works? Can I set it out in a open pasture or does the tank need to sit over the water icon?

Cool map. I love it! But had problem with mission. Had to deliver sugar bites to Wyoming Grain. But they dont take sugar bites…
I have harvested 2x now and both times, it has said that I didn’t complete the job. Also on the other maps, when you turned in the harvest you got paid for the product that you collected and 2x I didn’t get paid for the harvest. Is this a bug on this map? If not, what is going on?
I need to add, that the Grain Mill is where I was having problems turning in my harvest.
Yes I have the same problem. Took the mission for harvesting sugar bites and I had to deliver them tho wyoming grain. But it does not take sugar bites. So I will probably have to abort the mission…
You need to take stuff to the (BACK) of the Wyoming Feeds. The front should not take stuff but it does and it disappears
Can y’all give me any pointers here? I’ve installed all required mods and sister mods and everything works just not the map… I’ve even gone as far to move all of my mods and change the mod directory but still nothing… I’ve tried multiple times to reach out to the creator but haven’t heard anything back.
ya know i love this guys work but damn dude is it a sin to help out someone who needs your help with your own mod?
Try redownloading just the map. Sometimes its a corrupted file or incomplete dl and it will cause it not to work

hey, so i played it yesterday, all fine. closed the game, started up today again. still loads the save. but for some reason the ingame map doesnt load… anyone have a clue?
I am having the same issue. I have tried reloading the game and a new game save without any mods other than the required. Works great until you hit save.
I’m a follower of “The Farm Sim Guy” so when he did a review of this map and after his praises for it. I had to come over to Elk Mountain Ranch Modding and watch all the videos, and this was BEFORE even downloading the map and assorted packages. I am so impressed with this map and the amount of work. I may never play another. I’ve been gaming since the 70’s. Yes I’m 66 years old. Outstanding Work!!!!

I want to play this map badly but for some reason I don’t have a bridge going across the creek by where my equipment is parked any help would be appreciated
probably dont have the required mods. the bridge is in his mod pack that he has listed in the description.

the map would be way funner if you would take out the terra farm so you can mine in a dedicated server with other people and it not be so broken you can put it on dirt and it still drops out as gravel you have to do so much more just to mine just change the mine’s to were you can mine than without terra farm thanks.
You just don’t know how to use terra-farm obviously. It works just fine on dedicated.
I cant get it to even upload , what’s the trick
i rented a server again this time for 3 days i am trying to get this map to upload , and if it does ill have a ft server but it just spins , anything else uploads fine but also terrafarm 0.4 says unavailable even if its in my folder and activated
mine and gravel pit both work very well with terra far. You have to access the terra farm function menu and change the settings in game.
how do i install this in the game?
Really nice map. But I suddently cant get my horse back in the stable, and it says that i do not own any animals :s

Solved:
The rideable delivery area is around the hitching post so when riding a horse you have to get off at the hitching post for it to register back in the pasture

this guy makes amazing maps but every map i have played is filled with little annoying bugs that make the game no fun to play and from what i have seen he dont bother to respond to people or fix any of the problems .. its too bad .. he”s what i like to call a snob modder
You’re what I call a snob poster. I’ve played over 70+ hours on V.2 and haven’t ran into any annoying bugs.
v1 had plenty and she is right, they do not respond via messenger.

Having way too much experience on this map – simply fantastic! Shame it’s not working out on a dedicated server (yet)
anyone have issues with running the map as soon as its downloaded? gets to 85% and doesn’t go any further.
1.4 update doesn’t like script mods. You have to disable all of them or roll back.
Look at your log file and read the last thing before you alt-f4, that is your issue 9/10 times.
i did i had two versions of terra farm mod running got rid of one and works fine
This map is incredible! The only issue I have found (more of a wish) is that the lumber mill is only decoration. Would love to see it added.

You should have a placeable sawmill or lumber mill if not you can download one
anyone else have a problem after a saved game where it only loads to 65% then crashes?
Symptom of the 1.4 update. I’d recommend just rolling back to previous version until Giants stops trying to break mods.
In the mine you cannot pick up dirt only stones
you need to open the terra farm tab and set your discharge from stone to dirt
does not work on a dedicated server
