PONSSE BISON ACTIVE FRAME SHUTTLE V1.1

PONSSE BISON ACTIVE FRAME SHUTTLE V1.0

The new Bison ActiveFrame from PONSSE is an innovative forwarder.
In contrast to all other forwarders, the bison is equipped with a CVT transmission.
This makes it possible to drive from 0-20 km / h without changing gears.

The shuttle conversion is used to transport the trailer or trailer to difficult-to-access loading points e.g. through deep mud, distant forest areas, etc.
There you can either load directly or, thanks to the foldable stanchion, you can still move.

Various trailers can also be attached to the rear of the stake basket.

The following shop options are available:

On console, the claw is way weaker than it was before. If you grab a pile of toothpick logs and happen to nudge the stakes the logs come out of the claw. When trying to grip two medium logs, if the claw doesn’t fit perfect around them so it can close all the way, then you’ll definitely be losing one, if not both after the first one falls out.

Additionally, from the previous update, the up & down got reversed console. Down is up and up is down. Makes this forwarder difficult to use. (On console, pushing all the way Up on the left or right stick is Y = -100. Pulling down on either stick is Y = +100. The X axis is normal. ie pushing left: X = -100 and right: X = +100.)

The light was a great addition.

Please don’t change your Komatsu Forwarders. They are the only forwarders on console worth a damn right now. The light would be nice but don’t change the claw physics or movement. The base game forwarders have the worse claw physics and are completely unusable for console players. Your forwarders at least work some what. The claw physics is jacked up anyway on console.

That’s a Giants problem. Probably why even with the cool upcoming Platinum Expansion, forestry will still be hard and difficult for a majority of XBOX and PlayStation players. Until Giants decides to actually fix collisions with logs, fix the forwarders/claws OR give console users the ability to customize all the controls, then forestry will still be a pain for 90% of console players.

Rated a 3 out of 5 in the console mod hub. I rated the previous version a 4 out of 5. Would have been a 5 out of 5.

I do appreciate you putting them out on console though. Thank you.
