Forestry is not just chopping down trees. once a tree is cut you are left with a stump on the field. The field at this point is not usable for doing any farming or planting new trees or anything else. The question then is how to remove the leftovers? Let’s find out in this tutorial.
What you need
You need a tractor to operate the mulcher.
You need a forestry mulcher to get rid of the stump.
Equipment Selection (recommendation)
Tractor: John Deere 7810
Weight: John Deere PickUp 9000
Mulcher: TMC CANCELA TFK 200
Let’s go to work!
Step 1: Mount the machine
Position the rear of the tractor behind the mulching tool and press the respective button to mount the machine. Drive to the stump.
Step 2: Mulch it!
Lower the mulcher and turn it on. Now, you just drive over the stump. If it is too high, you can adjust the mulcher accordingly. And that’s it.
